Soul River allowed a creative notion to run its course - an incubator of thoughts and ideas that would not bear fruit without the support, nourishment and belief that anything goes..
Free from the commercial restraints - the soul can flow -
By donating the space for free - the normal limitations of finances and having to ‘make money’ were removed, allowing a new type of creativity to flourish, one born from the soul.
What amazing creative community you are Big Sur.
You’ve danced, played, drummed , performed, celebrated, prayed felt at home – your dogs too … dressed like pirates, worn crazy hats & outfits, laughed, cried, sang - had great conversations, swung, hips, fire and hula hoops – given and received healings – swapped clothes, knowledge and gossip - had psychic experiences read & launched books, raised money had tea parties and so much more.
Many things began at Soul River & moved on to bigger greater things. So will the notion of a creative space.
It’s time for Jude and Adonna to pass the legacy on – we have run the space on the house for over 2 years but now it’s time for it to be self sufficient or be passed on to the next phase.

Soul River offers a space to play in. Plus many ways to do this.
For the last 2 years we have - with no other agenda, given the studio as a gift. by paying the rent & overheads out of our own pockets and donating our time for free. Now it's time for the studio to evolve and take the next step by including the participation and support of others.
We’ve had a great time with Soul River and invite you to do the same.

$1000 - 100hrs of a person's time ($10 per hour)
