Soul River Studios

Hi there, I'm here  - blogging - after David Peacock my bodywork therapist commented on my lack
of action. I'm in the throws of packing up from our houseboat in Sausalito to move full time to Big Sur. Very exciting to stop ping ponging between the Bay Area and Big Sur. Adonna my partner at the studio has been holding the fort since we started 'unofficially'  on the Ides March (15) 2008 with her work. The official opening showing my work was a baptism by fire due to the wild fire that started and morphed into a fundraiser for the fire fighters. There was a freak snow storm that shut down the whole of London the last time I had a show. My mother has forbidden me to have any more shows for fear of what natural disaster it will bring!

This set the tone for the space - creating events that inspired positive change. We had another fundraiser to help the community celebrating the consciousness of water spearheaded by Anna Lisa Sand in collaboration with Surf Rider.

From there we had shows, events, film nights, blessings by Tibetan Lamas, psychic faires and exhibitions by a local rat called Elena which is still at the gallery.
Next exciting event will be the Big Sur Food and Wine festival  - November 6-7th.
